In 2024, the Hong Kong fund market demonstrated strong signs of recovery. Retail funds achieved gross sales of USD 81.7 billion (HKD 641.8 billion), a 47% increase marking a three-year high. Net inflows reached USD 12.3 billion (HKD 96.6 billion), up over 65 times from 2023. The average daily turnover of ETFs reached HKD 16 billion, up 36% from the previous year. The total net assets of MPF were about HKD 1.3 trillion, with an average annual return of 8.6%.

Top Funds 2024, now in its eleventh year, aims to continually enhance investors' awareness of the local fund market, drive strategic optimization and excellence within the asset management industry. Through quantitative analysis, the event identifies the best and outstanding funds across three major categories: Mutual Funds, Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), and Mandatory Provident Funds (MPFs). In addition, it recognizes fund managers of these successful funds, celebrating their achievements and contributions to the industry’s growth.

2024年，香港基金市場展現了強勁復甦勢頭，全年零售基金錄得總銷售額817億美元（約6,418億港元），按年增長47%，創三年新高。基金淨流入錄得123億美元（約966億），較去年增長超過65倍。交易所買賣基金（ETF）日均成交額達160億港元，較2023年上升36%，而強積金（MPF）的總資產淨值約$1.3萬億港元，全年平均淨回報達8.6%。
