Hong Kong is ranked the 5th most competitive among 63 economies in the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2022, up from seventh in 2021*. Last year, Hong Kong has been facing the uncertain and challenging macro-environment and high volatility of international fund flow movement. With the efforts of financers, the Hong Kong financial sector remains resilient to provide reliable and high-quality financial services and products to the market.

To acknowledge the contribution of Hong Kong financial talents, the Chinese Edition of Bloomberg Businessweek hosts the 9th “Financial Institutions 2023”. The Panel of Judges will review and evaluate entries from Banking, Insurance, and Securities sectors based on their market performance, growth, development, and business strategy in the past year. We hope to motivate financiers to nurture potential talents, turn adversity into opportunity, and seek new development opportunities.

在《2022年世界競爭力年報》中，香港的競爭力排名在全球63個經濟體中從2021年第7位升至第5位*。儘管面對全球政經局勢變化、外圍市場劇變，資金流向波動，香港金融體系保持穩健發展，提供可靠、高效的金融服務及產品予市場參與者，實有賴一眾金融精英的努力。

為肯定各企業對本地經濟繁榮作出的貢獻，《彭博商業周刊/中文版》將舉辦第九屆「金融機構2023」，以嚴格的評選機制，分別從銀行、保險公司及投資/證券公司等類別中評選過去一年表現出色的公司，藉此推動香港金融業的持續發展，鼓勵各界繼續積極培養人才，推陳出新，為經濟增長注入新動力。
